Tectonic Plates and Hot Springs
This month many of the homeschool families are studying tectonic plates, volcanoes, and hot springs. On Wednesday we all took a field trip to see the hot springs near Cuenca. It was very interesting to see the geologic formations and to see where the (HOT!) water comes out of the ground. To finish off the field trip we took a swim in the water.

The homeschool chapel services began today. We are so thankful for these dedicated godly families.

Couples cell group
Yesterday after church the couples cell group had a picnic next to the river and then we played board games at our house. It's such a joy to lead this cell group and fellowship with them. We meet each Thursday evening and study Scripture together.

Catching butterflies
Wednesdays are our day off and yesterday the kids wanted to go catch butterflies. We took a picnic along and had a good time enjoying the outdoors.

Fellowship and Rest
This week we enjoyed a relaxing afternoon with Pastor Santiago and Blanca. It was good to get away and have some time of fellowship together.
